Sydney has been having a wonderful summer! She really has stepped into her big sister role and loves
to help take care of Andrew and play with him.
So far, her most exciting adventure this summer has been a trip to Louisville, KY where she was able to
meet 4 other kids who were born in June 2003 (we call them June Bugs). She had an action-packed weekend in Louisville
at the "Bug Bash" and loved all of the other kids she met!
Sydney has also been enjoying Toddler Time at the library, spending time at the pool, trips to the Fort
Wayne Children's Zoo, Birthday Party's and just playing outdoors in the nice warm weather!
Sydney loves fall and has been enjoying all of the fun fall festivites as much as ever. She took a
trip to the Pumpkin Farm with our MOPS friends, carved her pumpkins, went trick-or-treating at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo
and in our neighborhood. She dressed as a monkey (calling herself Curious George). In November, she enjoyed lots
of yummy thanksgiving food and time spent with family. She also went to the state football games in Indianapolis to
watch Norwell High School play. It was quite an adventure for her and she loved staying "downtown" at the Westin where
she had a great view of the people and traffic. She also loved watching the Christmas Tree lighting at Monument Circle
and eating at the Old Spaghetti Factory.
Sydney has been enjoying winter so far! This winter started off so mildly, that she has been asking
over and over when winter was coming. Even though there was no snow, winter did come in December and so did all of the
fun December events. Sydney had a great time celebrating Christmas with her new brother and loved getting to see all
of her family and of course PRESENTS!
We finally got lots of snow in February and Sydney was very happy about that! Now that is has been
very cold here for 3 or 4 weeks she has been asking about summer though! She has been keeping busy with library classes,
MOPPETS, Livewires at church one evening a week, and swimming with mommy on Fridays. She is really looking forward to
swimming outdoors again!
